Your 2026 ICCA Lineup

Celebrating 30 Years of The International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella!

We’re beyond thrilled to launch the 30th season of the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA) this January — three decades of showcasing the most talented college singers in the world!

This year marks a record-breaking milestone for the ICCA, with an unprecedented number of groups applying to compete and thousands of performers representing universities across the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. While we wish we could include everyone, we’re proud to welcome an extraordinary lineup of talented groups to this year’s tournament — making it our largest and most competitive season ever!

Nine regions will once again make up the ICCA: Central, Great Lakes, Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, Northeast, South, Southwest, West, and United Kingdom. Each region will follow our traditional Quarterfinal/Semifinal structure, all leading to the spectacular ICCA Finals this spring in New York City.

Competitor Information
Accepted competitors will receive an email from your regional ICCA producer no later than December 15 with specifics about the day of their show. Events will begin in mid-January and continue through late March. Most shows begin at 7 pm with competitor call time at noon. Please be sure to review our competition rules and judging system. Groups may withdraw by December 1, 2025 for a full refund. Otherwise, we will take your spot as confirmed – and we can’t wait to see you on stage!

Audience Information
Tickets for most events go on sale on December 1 on our events page. Follow us on Instagram for a reminder, and sign up for our mailing list to make sure you are getting all of the latest event info. Many events do sell out in advance, so we highly recommend grabbing your tickets early.

Please see our acceptances and regional breakdowns for the 2026 ICCA below. If you have a questions about your placement, please contact ICCA Director David Rabizadeh at david@varsityvocals.com. If your group is not listed below, you have been automatically added to our waitlist. Should any group in your region withdraw before December 1st, you may receive an invitation to re-join the competition.

The 2026 International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella Lineup

Central, Great Lakes, Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, Northeast, South, Southwest & West: 5 Quarterfinals, top 2 advance to semifinals, semifinal winner to finals.
United Kingdom: 4 Quarterfinals, top 2 advance to semifinals, top two semifinal wildcards advance to semifinal, semifinal winner to finals.
Finals Wildcard: All 2nd & 3rd place groups from each semifinal will be eligible to apply to the wildcard round, where the top placing group will advance to the ICCA Finals at The Town Hall in New York City!
