Best of College A Cappella
Each year, Varsity Vocals produces compilation albums of the Best of
College A Cappella and Best of High School A Cappella, featuring the
very best tracks from groups around the world.
Varsity Vocals accepts hundreds of submissions every year, and being
selected to appear on this album has become a valuable mark of accomplishment
in the a cappella community. Each year's album is more exciting than
the last -- and, in fact, most of the early BOCAs are long sold out
and are now reprinted in double-CD sets. Whether it's the earliest edition
available, the latest release, or the BOCA box, the Best of College
A Cappella is a must-have for any true a cappella aficionado!
We are thrilled to announce the lineup for the BOCA 2009!
Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who submitted their tracks. We know
how much of each of you goes into producing these albums, and we really
enjoyed listening to each and every track we received.
Hundreds upon hundreds of tracks submitted, but we are only able to
fit 19 tracks, and with so many groups pushing the envelope (in everything
from vocalists and arrangement, to recording and production quality,
to song selection and genre), selecting our lineup this year was incredibly
difficult.
We want to thank you for your interest in our annual compilation, and
we encourage you to participate in years to come.
