2013 Competitor Lineup

We are thrilled to announce our North America lineup for the 2013 Varsity Vocals A Cappella Championship!

 

This was another record year for applications across the United States, and in order to accommodate as many great groups as possible, we had to get creative with the boundaries of the US regions for ICCA:

 

• We've established a brand new region - Great Lakes - which includes Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, Kentucky, and Canada.
• Delaware moved from the South region to the Mid-Atlantic.
• NYC moved from the Northeast region to the Mid-Atlantic.
• For the ICHSA, we've added two new semifinals: Ohio Valley and St. Louis, making it a total of nine ICHSA shows across the U.S. This means that we'll only be able to invite one wild card group to Finals this season.
• There will be 5 quarterfinals in the West, South, and Northeast regions.

With such an overwhelming response we do regret that we are not able to accommodate every group that applies. If your group's name doesn't appear here, we hope you will still join us in the audience at our events this season. Please use this opportunity to learn from the community and build on the strong foundation you've already started. We hope to hear from you again next season.

 

We do still have limited availability for additional groups in the ICHSA high school tournament. For details about how to get involved, contact us.

 

We will be placing competitors into the first round of competition as soon as possible. Please visit our events page to see where your favorite group will be competing.
